Hello to all the boys, girls, men, women, and ghosts out there!
This week was a pretty normal week, which obviously it was awesome. It’s interesting how everything really is on the Lord’s timing. The past 6-week transfer, we didn’t have any investigators, but this last week we got more investigator and this next it’s very likely that we’ll get another. That’s 4 in total and they really did just come out of nowhere. One thing I learned is that nothing really happens unless God wills it to happen. In the end, working hard doesn’t necessarily get you the investigators, but determines your worthiness and tests your faith. When God deems that you are ready and worthy, when He sees that you are still willing to work even though it’s not bringing about any physical fruit, then that is when HE gives you the reward. His grace really is sufficient after all that we do, and in the end, it is His grace that we must rely on, not our own ability.
Besides new investigators, we also had an awesome English class this week. For those that don’t know, we teach the basic level and we decided to shake it up a bit and go where no english teacher has ever gone before…we taught them the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious song. If you don’t believe that God is a God of miracles, then you should see a basic level Vietnamese English class learn this song and you’ll be a believer trust. They did awesome and it was so much fun!
Besides that, other big things that happened this week was the 2nd baptism in the Ha Dong branch, which was super exciting. We were super proud of them for pulling off another one. Finally, we had a branch Halloween party and it was a ton of fun to talk to all the nonmembers that came and see how much they enjoyed the event.
That’s all for this week! Hit me up with an email if you need anything or just want to share about your Halloween!
